WHAT’S NEW?
The rough draft of MURDER TAKES THE REINS is finished! This week I’m bound for Columbus, Ohio for a library conference and I’m taking my tablet to begin the edits. I won’t lie, it’s an ugly baby. That’s what I get for writing a mystery for NaNoWriMo–so many plot holes! I’m extra motivated to get this book out and about, because I’ve got some cool marketing ideas for it.
The girls continue their love/hate/jealousy/all-the-feels relationship. Here’s an action shot. I tried to take a better photo, but they scattered.
WHAT OTHER STORIES ARE THERE?
Well…
- MURDER TAKES THE REINS will be finished and released in 2024, I promise!
- Peri and Skip will be in a new mystery together with their detective agency as soon as I find a crime to solve. It should be interesting to see Skip’s by-the-book training working with Peri’s get-forgiveness-later philosophy!
- Without releasing any spoilers, there are more stories to tell in the world of Lisette de Lille…and I plan to tell them!

A job well done, Gayle! Nice!
Hi Gayle!
I saw you just this past weekend at the CFWC Convention and bought three of your books. I started reading Freezer Burn yesterday and finished it today. I really enjoyed your presentation at the ESO breakfast and I really enjoyed your book! Thank you! Keep on writing!
