As well as writing stories, I spend every week or so writing 600 words about my life as a wife, mother, homeowner, car owner, resident of Placentia, etc. One of my early writing role models was Erma Bombeck, the Queen of the Slice of Life humor essay. We share a birthday, and I hope we share a sense of humor!
